Khartoum … a well deserved rest day

Welcome to a slightly chilly, windy Khartoum on a Sunday morning. It is a normal bustling day – Friday is a day of rest and they usually have a six day week. The foreign contingency often take the Saturday off too. Many of you are probably still fast asleep or dragging yourselves out of bed … not much sleep here if one is used to getting up at about six every morning.
I’ve set up a little office under the awnings, next to a power source and am charging my iPods, camera, downloading my Polar Watch details and writing some blog entries … I’m trying to do it on my laptop and then just copy it into my blog … let’s see how it works.
